Classroom Trainingsmall classroom training

During the first week of training we will cover the necessary material needed to obtain a Class A CDL Permit, and master the Texas Department of Public Safety written exams. In addition to the Department of Transport rules and regulations, log books and trip planning is also covered. The students will also take their DOT Physical and Drug Screens and be provided a DOT Medical Card.

Students attending Action Career Training will experience the highest standard of professional truck driver training in the industry today. Periodically throughout the training program, each student will have the opportunity to work personally with an instructor to receive teaching and guidance. This one-on-one training will enable you to improve on the areas of training which are most needed to help you maximize your success.  These person-to-person sessions will allow our professional staff to give you the most benefit from the program.

 

160-Hour CDL “A” Training Program

The A.C.T. 160-Hour course will prepare you for a great career in the trucking industry, whether you choose to drive regionally or over-the-road. This class will train you to qualify for your Texas Class “A” Commercial Drivers License.  In this training program, you will experience classroom, yard, and on the road instruction.
