2 - How many weeks does it take to finish the classes at ACT?

4 - Do I have to have a physical?

Yes, you do. All students have to take and pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

5 - Do I have to have a high school diploma or a GED certificate?

Yes, you have to have either a high school diploma, a G.E.D., or a Wonderlic Entrance Exam.

6 - Will I get hands-on driving instruction at ACT?

Yes, you will receive three weeks of hands-on training from ACT.

7 - Is there classroom instruction at ACT?

Yes, you will attend 1 week of training in the classroom and 3 weeks of hands-on training.

8 - Does ACT work with carriers who hire truck drivers to help me find a job?

Yes, ACT will work with you on job placement during the admission process, training and after graduation if needed.

9 - Can I travel and see some of the world after I graduate?

Yes, many of our graduates choose a job that let's them travel.

10 - Do trucking carriers offer benefits to their employees?

Yes, most companies offer good pay and benefits.

11 - How often does ACT start a new class?

Contact an ACT Admissions Representative for details about classes in your area. Most ACT training facilities have new classes starting every month.
